Peter Falk and Robert Foxworth in Columbo: Grand Deceptions (1989)

Trivia

Columbo: Grand Deceptions

Edit
(at around 43 mins) This is one of the few Columbo episodes in which the Lieutenant's supposed first name is displayed. Columbo is showing Frank Brailie a plastic evidence bag of leaves and mud retrieved from the collar of the victim, and the name 'Frank Columbo' can be read on the bag.
Stephen Elliott is in two episodes. In A Deadly State of Mind (1975), he is the murder victim; however, in both episodes his wife is having an affair with the murderer.
This is the last directorial credit of Sam Wanamaker and coincided with early plans regarding his founding of the International Shakespeare Globe Centre and supporting the protection of the archaeological remains of The Rose Theatre. Several cast (e.g., Peter Falk) participated in attending supportive events Saving the Rose Theatre (1989) spanning up to 1998. Scenes were screened on overhead projector on a street-based stage, for introduction and as memorial tribute to many international performers present.
This is the last of three episodes where the murderer is a military man. The others include Dead Weight (1971) and By Dawn's Early Light (1974).
Andy Romano's character's name, Sergeant Major Lester Keegan, may have been an homage to famous war historian John Keegan.
