Heart of Dixie (1989)

Trivia

Heart of Dixie

Edit
A gas station was coverted into a 1950s diner for the film. Shortly after, this location became the original McAllister's Deli, a restaurant chain currently with over 300 locations.
Michael St. Gerard, who played Elvis in the concert scene, has played The King two other times, in the Jerry Lee Lewis biopic "Great Balls of Fire" and on the short lived ABC television series "Elvis"
Lisa Zane's debut.
Jason Bruce Robertson utilized his 1968 Chevy Camaro SS, as requested due to the need for "older" vehicles. However, it was cut from the film due to continuity issues, with the film supposedly set in the 1950's and not the late 1960's.
This was shot as "Heartbreak Hotel", but the 1988 film of that name had cleared the rights to use the song first., requiring a name change.
