Priscilla Barnes and Bradford Dillman in Lords of the Deep (1989)

Trivia

Lords of the Deep

Edit
Robert Skotak and Dennis Skotak created the underwater visual effects. When a crew member asked Robert why he chose to work on such a low budget film, he replied, "It's four weeks paid work, and on a Roger Corman movie, you get to work with people on their way up, and on their way down."
Producer Roger Corman reused all the underwater shots and effects for "Unknown Origin" aka "The Alien Within," in 1994.
The primal goo was actually glitter slime, a 1980s variety of Mattel's Slime toy. When it originally arrived on toy shelves in 1976, it was green and sold in small plastic trash cans. Other versions added soft plastic worms, eyeballs, and cartoon hero characters. It was made from guar gum, a thickener used in food products.
This film was featured on the latest incarnation of Mystery Science Theater 3000 (2018)
Most of the characters were named after members of the New York Mets baseball team.

Cameo

Roger Corman: Corporate executive.
