During filming, Michael Ironside was less than satisfied with working alongside the director as well as actress Lisa Langlois, even to the point that he wanted both of them fired from production.
The film's trailer features alternate takes that were unused in the final cut of the film.
This is the second time that Steve Atkinson (Young Kellen) has played the younger version of Michael Ironside (Kellen O'Reilly). The first was Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II (1987) - Michael (Bill Nordham) Steve (Young Bill Nordham).
The film's trailer also re-uses music from To Live and Die in L.A.
Janine Manatis, who plays Kellen O'Reilly's psychiatrist Dr Mendel, was Michael Ironside's teacher and mentor at drama school.
