Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures (1990)

Trivia

Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventures

Edit
After Ted Turner purchased the animation studio Hanna-Barbera in 1991, the second season of the animated show switched production companies and networks, now airing on Fox Kids, and produced by DIC Entertainment. As Fox was also planning on airing a new live-action series of the same name, the cast was replaced, and the leads were now voiced by Evan Richards and Christopher Kennedy, the actors who respectively portrayed Bill and Ted on the fleeting live-action series.
The first season of the animated series was produced by Hanna-Barbera and aired on CBS, with Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter, George Carlin, and Bernie Casey reprising their roles from the original film, Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure (1989).
The show's second season struggled in its viewership, partly due to the fact that it diverted from time travel and also had new voice actors for the lead characters. It was later axed.
Season two introduced a "Squint" phone booth that could take Bill and Ted into literature, television shows, and (after shrinking them) inside the human body.
The premiere date for the animated series is September 15th, the same day of the 4th Annual Battle of the Bands in Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey (1991).
