Now, I love a cheesy teen movie as well as anyone else (well, actually a lot more) but this film was just ridiculous. : Kristy Swanson shows a little potential, but the wistful sighs of a high school geek just doesn't suit Sasha Jenson, who is excellent as Don Dawson in dazed and confused. The high pitched voice and bunny character was ridiculous.
The plot is unbearably slow ... half the movie seems devoted to dressing up the two attractive stars in various weird costumes as they play out their "fantasies" , which are lame and definitely bear no resemblence to real adolescent fantasies.
The subplot is even more tedius ....a headmaster who spies on the sorority house and steals panties, two little boys who spend the whole movie spying on de-topping co-eds. Ugh.
Don't bother unless you're a die hard teensploitation fan!

Dream Trap is a film for those who enjoy a little fantasy with a little bit of that late 1980's College Frat silliness. Kristy Swanson is great in this film and many will fall in love with her innocence and beauty. Sasha Jenson plays his role terrifically as the nerd that has fantasies about a character and actually meets the identical looking twin to his dream in real life. I wish Kristy Swanson had shown more skin in the film however she has a terrific body and a great personality.
