The first season was filmed in New York City. Seasons 2-5 were filmed in Los Angeles. To be exact, the first season, according to first assistant camerman Alex Aurichio, was shot in a former sweatshop that was cleaned out for the show. It was at 480 Broadway between Spring and Broome Streets, on the 3rd floor. Episodes 1-13 were shot there. For seasons 2-3, production was at the Hollywood Center Studios, and The Culver Studios for 4-5.
