Pound Puppies (1985)

Trivia

Pound Puppies

Edit
Cooler's laugh was inspired by Eddie Murphy's laugh.
The Pound Puppies return from the 1985 TV Special of the Same Name. The main difference is that Cooler now has white fur instead of gray fur, Nose Marie sports a southern belle accent, Howler wears a yellow shirt and has a speaking role, and Bright Eyes is younger than her TV special counterpart. Whopper has been introduced as the new member of the Pound Puppies. Barkerville, Louie, Scrounger, and Violet Vanderfeller are absent (Although Barkverville, Scrounger, and Violet Vanderfeller made either cameo or guest starring appearances throughout the TV series).
Katrina's personality, motives, and physical appearance were all modeled after One Hundred and One Dalmatians villain, Cruella De Vil.
Adrienne Alexander, the voice of Brattina, was originally the voice of Bright Eyes in the TV special.
Pat Carroll and Nancy Cartwright also worked together on Galaxy High at the same time as the first season of this show.
