French DJ Laurent Garnier used Sridevi's famous fight scene for his video "The Man with the Red Face". Clips of the song "Banjaran Main Banjaran" was also used in Laurent Garnier's music video.
The plot angle of Sridevi lying in court to save Shatrughna Sinha and this harming her marital life was later copied in 1992 film Meera Ka Mohan.
When K.C. Bokadia narrated the film to Jackie Shroff, Rajnikant was doing the other role. Shroff refused the offer since he was already working with him in Uttar Dakshin. When Rajnikant backed out because of date issues, Shatrughan Sinha was signed. That is when Jackie Shroff was approached again and he signed the film.
Sridevi voice is dubbed by a dubbing artiste.
