- Margo: Well, I got to the house, and I had this funny feeling. I went inside and straight to the bedroom, I was sure he was with somebody. Nobody! I looked all through the house, I was so relieved! Then I looked out at the pool. Billy, the love of my life, was on the cement with this sleazy blonde.
- Rae Colton: Oh Margo.
- Margo: I ran... I just took off. I was running down Doheny... I thought my heart would stop. I thought the world had come to an end, I didn't know who to call! And then I ended up calling Ramon. He told me to come right over. His house is better than Billy's, and he's got art!
- Rae Colton: [impressed] He moved your stuff?
- Margo: Well, I went back to the house. The blonde was gone. I went up to Billy, I gave him a big hug, and I said I still love you, but I'm moving out. You know, I really thought that one would last.
- Margo: [Rae reaches for a butter patty while at lunch] You're not going to eat that butter, are you?
- Rae Colton: Oh, I forgot.
- [raises her left hand and covers her heart with her right]
- Rae Colton: I must not overeat, I need my body to be thin.
- Margo: Oh, you go ahead... laugh. But it works! There are all these young, skinny women here who are just waiting for you to put on weight to get your man!
- Rae Colton: I'm not worried.
- Margo: You should be. To tell you the truth, I think I'd knock you down and walk over your body for one night with Wyn.
- Rae Colton: [laughs] You gonna make him sign a contract?
- Margo: I didn't get this way without a reason, you know.
- Rae Colton: I know.
- Margo: I've learned to protect myself. I loved Billy... I love Ramon, I love men! But you've got to get it in writing. Things change after you get dumped.
- Rae Colton: Well, Wyn and I have been together for nine years. I don't think I'm gonna get dumped.
- Wyn: [after Rae tells Wyn about landing a minor acting role] Do I give you enough money, Rae?
- Rae Colton: Of course you do, Wyn. You're the most generous person I've ever known.
- Wyn: All the lessons I pay for, the dancing, the acting, the singing. Don't they keep you busy enough?
- Rae Colton: Well, that's what they're for! I mean, I like to work... I like to be productive.
- Wyn: I'll always take care of you, Rae. You know that.
- Rae Colton: But I'm an actress. Well, you know, I always wanted to be an actress... and this is an opportunity.
