This film was inspired by a real incident when Sparta football fans destroyed several wagons and terrorized passengers and staff while traveling by train to Banská Bystrica.
Marketa Zmozkova was sixteen at the time of filming, including a rough sex scene. When she won the audition, she and her parents were happy. However, when the script brought home, the smile on everyone's faces quickly disappeared. "Mr. Smyzcek and Mr. John had to come to our house and explain to Mom that it wouldn't be as awful as it looked on paper. But when our people came to the premiere and saw it, it was a little drastic, they wouldn't let me shoot it, "she added with a smile.
