Project A-Ko 2: Plot of the Daitokuji Financial Group (1987)

Trivia

Project A-Ko 2: Plot of the Daitokuji Financial Group

Edit
As Ms. Ayumi and C-ko wait for A-ko to come back up to the surface, a man with a newspaper walks by. The paper has a lewd message on it written in Romanized Japanese. Translated, it reads: "I want to fuck".
When one of the spies aboard the alien spaceship fires a signal flare, there is a single-frame animator's gag in the explosion. It shows C-ko, who is seen holding a fan, and the word "PON" written next to her. "Pon" is the Japanese word for "pop".
The message on the cannonball that Hikari fires at A-ko reads: "A-ko you idiot".
A cut storyboard for the film shows that in the scene where A-ko and the gang look over the railing and see the hundreds of spies, B-ko was originally with them as well. B-ko begins to laugh manically, only to have C-ko shoot her a dirty look. B-ko then begins yelling at the spies, and upon seeing C-ko cheer, B-ko blushes.
Storyboards show that the opening scene was originally extended to show Captain Napolipolita and D looking out the window, bored. Cap then spots a group of people drinking beer at their table, her eyes bug out and she does a running leap and lands right on top of the table. She then downs a mug of beer, the guests, who are amused by this, hand Cap their mugs, and the scene ends with The Captain drinking beer after beer.
