Medusa: Dare to Be Truthful (1991)

Trivia

Medusa: Dare to Be Truthful

Edit
According to Julie Brown, Madonna has seen the film and gifted Brown a half-finished bottle of warm champagne. The only scenes she was upset by were Medusa rolling around on her dog's grave (Madonna did it on her mother's) and the backup dancers suing her (which also happened).
The special DVD release features a 10 minute deleted-scenes montage with new commentary recorded by "Medusa" detailing the making of the "documentary".
A framed record award for the album "Like a Video" (a spoof of Madonna's "Like a Virgin" released in 1984) can be briefly seen.
There are three moments in the film that Madonna ended up doing for real later in her career. In the "Like a Video" Medusa kisses and writhes around in front of a television - Madonna did this in her "Take a Bow" video. At one point Medusa says: "Call me Mrs Birdseye. The show is frozen." Madonna recorded "Frozen" for her Ray of Light album. In the "Like a Prayer" parody sequence, the dancers have crucifixes on their backs. In Madonna's Confessions Tour, she is on stage on a crucifix.
