The Vagrant (1992)

Trivia

The Vagrant

Edit
The SWAT raid scene took three days and 1500 bullet hits to set up. All of which were fired in less than one minute, resulting in less than 10 seconds of on-screen time.
Teddy Wilson (X-ray) died of a stroke prior to the films release.
Richard Jefferies based the character of the Vagrant on an actual homeless person who lived in a vacant field located across from a guest house Jefferies was residing at in Studio City, California at the time. Moreover, the script Jefferies wrote took almost ten years to finally be made into a film.
Shot in 45 days.
Bill Paxton was Director Chris Walas' first choice for the role of Graham Krakowski. He had wanted to work with him on The Fly II (much like co-star Marshall Bell) years earlier but was still an unknown actor at that point. When Walas submitted his list of top five actors to star in the film, Paxton's name was on the list and coincidentally, an article in Variety named Paxton as a one of five future leading men in Hollywood and MGM saw this and instantly approved his casting.
