Michael C. Maronna and Danny Tamberelli in The Adventures of Pete & Pete (1992)

Trivia

The Adventures of Pete & Pete

Edit
This show started out as a series of one-minute shorts that aired during commercial breaks on Nickelodeon between 1990-1993.
Danny Tamberelli and Michael C. Maronna remained close friends even after the show ended, co-hosting a podcast together called "The Adventures of Danny and Mike".
Only Mike Maronna appears in all 39 episodes. Little Pete is not in "Yellow Fever"
A feature movie was scripted being about Little and Big Pete intentionally cause a snow day so they can miss school. For several reasons this project never materialized, the shows creators would later remark that was one of the biggest disappointments of the series. The concept of the snow day would later go on to become the Nickelodeon movie Snow Day (2000)
According to one of the show's creators, the show was originally going to be about a boy named Pete and his dog named Pete, but they changed the dog to a younger brother when they realized a dog "wasn't exciting enough."
