Goblin (1993)

Trivia

Goblin

Edit
The film's ending, where zombies just appear out of nowhere to attack after the goblin is finally killed, reused a lot of archive footage from Zombie Rampage (1989), a previous film by Todd Sheets. *The footage was supposed to be for Zombie Rampage 2 that was filmed by Mike Hellman in the same house as Goblin. ZR2 was not finished or released by Trustinus Productions. Years later a new script was written and filmed by newer cast and crew members of Extreme Entertainment.
Todd Sheets has disowned the film and hates it, citing it as the worst film in his directing career.
The gory kill scenes in the film were not directed by Todd Sheets. By the time he had gotten around to filming this project, he had grown tired of filming violent death scenes and had his friends shoot and direct those scenes for him. ***Whoever wrote this has no clue what they are talking about.***
The film's original working title was "Hobgoblin" but was later changed to avoid confusion with the already existing film Hobgoblins (1988).
The original woman that was supposed to play Dorothy called at the last minute and said she couldn't make it. Mike Hellman tried to get his mother to play the part but she wasn't able to make it either. Dana Cheney was setting up lights when Todd Sheets informed her she had five minutes to learn the part. It was the last weekend they had the house rented for and Dana Cheney was the only female on set that was not already in the movie.
