Kathy Long said her favorite part of making the film was everyone sitting around a campfire during time off singing as Kris Kristofferson played his guitar.

Before this, Kathy Long has performed stunts for a couple of films, including being Michelle Pfeiffer's Catwoman stunt double in Batman Returns (1992). But Albert Pyun refused to let her do her own stunts in this movie when she asked to do them because he didn't want to risk her getting hurt. But she finally convinced him to let her.
Albert Pyun filmed Gary Daniels's scenes in the film first so Gary Daniels could star in City Hunter (1993).
Lance Henriksen, who plays Job, also voices the Master Cyborg (dubbing over Brad Langenberg) at the end of the movie.
