Actress Tara Subkoff told Variety in Oct. 2017 that she had just been cast in this film and getting her start in the industry when she claimed she was attacked by Harvey Weinstein, who pulled her onto his lap at a party. She said it was clear he had an erection at the time. "I was so surprised and shocked I couldn't stop laughing because it was so awkward," said Subkoff. "But then I could feel that he had an erection. I got quiet, but got off his lap quickly." She said it did not stop there however, with Weinstein then making more demands of Subkoff, who was 20 at the time. But when she rejected his advances he used his power to destroy her movie career.
