Additional footage was shot in St. Joseph, Missouri, with Thomas Haden Church, Marilyn Hassett and Holgie Forrester after the first uncompleted film with Vanna White wrapped. The new producer re-shot with a Vanna look-alike, and included himself as the leading man.
Originally shot in 1980, it was never released to theaters due to filming not being completed. It was later released on video in 1990 with additional scenes filmed to cash in on Vanna White's popularity on the Wheel of Fortune (1983).
