Lead actor Dan Haggerty actually spent only 2 days on set, whereas fellow lead Benton Jennings (portraying Haggerty's younger brother) spent over 4 weeks shooting on the film. The pick-up truck Jennings' good-guy character uses as the family farm vehicle was the same truck Jennings' psychotic character Toby Gilmore jacks in "Highway to Hell" by shooting a farmer and then rampages across the countryside in. More vehicle trivia: The little red Toyota from which a gunman shoots Haggerty was Jennings' own personal car at the time. The same red Toyota also had a brief appearance in "Highway to Hell".
