Catherine McClements (Kate) and Colin Friels (Richard) later co-starred together in the police drama television series Water Rats (1996), as the main characters Rachel 'Goldie' Goldstein and Frank Holloway, respectively.
Audience footage of the rock concert at the start of the movie was taken from a KISS concert in Sydney, Australia in November 1980. One can actually see fans holding a sign with a message to KISS band member Ace Frehley at one point.
