Kathleen Quinlan originally played the part of Constance Leroy but quit early in the production of he show. The role was recast with Corinne Bohrer, who re-shot Quinlan's scenes.
Star James Garner was no fan of of this series. Writing in his autobiography about the show nearly 20 years after its demise, his only comment was "Short-lived, and deservedly so."
