Noel's House Party (1991)

Trivia

Noel's House Party

Edit
Annabel Giles was the 1st Gotcha victim to spot the hidden cameras but continued to play along even after addressing the camera to let them know they had been sussed (In Saturday Roadshow, Edmonds' previous show, Maggie Philbin had similarly not been taken in by the prank, having figured it out within seconds of filming beginning, even though she did not spot the cameras).
Noel Edmonds would introduce episodes of "Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman" live on the set of the show, which this show proceeded the "Superman" series, with a link-in during the closing credits by Edmonds, which this show started right away after the closing credits. In one show, Dean Cain made a cameo in character as Clark Kent/Superman, which Edmonds tricked him into thinking green jelly was Kryptonite.
This show was Noel Edmond's biggest success.
Mr. Blobby whom was introduced in Series 2 became popular with viewers and children, but was unpopular with TV critics.
The Dave Lee Travis Gotcha was voted "One of the best Gotchas of Noel's House Party".
