Sherilyn Fenn and Mark Harmon in Dillinger (1991)

Trivia

Dillinger

Edit
Lawrence Tierney plays a sheriff in this version of the Dillinger story. He played John Dillinger himself in Dillinger (1945).
The theater he walks out of at the end of the movie was really the facade of a factory in the "Third Ward" of Milwaukee.
The large Bank they rob was actually the lobby of the Milwaukee Public Library.
The shoot required 2 maroon 1934 Ford sedans to facilitate the photography of the TV project. One borrowed from a local car collector for regular driving scenes. The other reconstructed from a parts car by the Transportation Department and local hot rod shops. This Ford sedan would do the dangerous stunt driving, and accommodate the damage caused explosive squibs used to create bullet holes during takes by the SFX department. The borrowed 1934 Ford Dillinger car was kept in mint condition. Also used in the making of this TV movie was a black 1934 Ford borrowed from a local car collector, used as an FBI vehicle in the scene where agents machine gunned down Eddie Green. This black car was again used in the filming of another Dillinger saga called "Public Enemies" almost 20yrs later in some of the same areas of Wisconsin.
The cabin which was shot up by the FBI was really a restaurant that had been shut down for a few years.
