Corey Haim and Cynthia Rothrock in Fast Getaway (1991)

Trivia

Fast Getaway

Edit
The movie was considered for a wide theatrical release. Prior to committing this, Cinetel Films and New Line Cinema performed a market test by airing promos for the film in Iowa, including the official trailer narrated by Corey Haim. The response was lackluster and the movie was released largely direct-to-video instead.
Producers kept trying to push Cynthia Rothrock into doing a nude scene. They told her that she didn't have to do a frontal nude shot, just take off her top and show the side of her breast during a love scene. So she agreed. But just as they were about to film, the director said the producers changed their minds and wanted her to do full nudity. She refused. After arguing about it, she finally agreed to show her bare back only, which was even less than she agreed to do originally. Everyone on set got to see her topless, but she made sure her breasts weren't shown on screen.
In the leaked script, Nelson (Corey Haim) calls his dad "Pop" 616 times, but due to time constraints it was cut down to 437 times in the final cut of the film.
In the scene where Sam talks to Nelson about fleeing to Canada and brings up the Mounties, Nelson says he doesn't know what a Mountie is. Corey Haim was Canadian.
Leo Rossi was in Halloween II (1981), Jeff Olson and Richard Jewkes were in Halloween 4 (1988), and Jack North was in Halloween 5 (1989).
