The movie is at least the fifth work by director Mats Arehn, which includes a scene with a car hard or failing to start, after Mannen som blev miljonär (1980), Skulden (1982), Dödspolare (1985) and A Film About Love (1987). Here it's character Patricia's (Eva Dahlman) Volvo 245 refusing to start at a moment of suspense.
The narration over the end titles start with the words "Som ni vet är alla människor skurkar, små, mellanstora eller stora, var och en efter sin förmåga. Så är det bara". ("As you know everybody are crooks, small, medium or big ones, each and every one after their abilitiy. That's just the way it is.") This is almost, but not entirely, word for word a quote from Allan Edwall's character Allan Persson in the previous Mats Arehn movie Mannen som blev miljonär (1980).
