The director of this film usually hires composers that is very well known for scoring films with only electronic instruments and never uses a symphony orchestra. However this movie features a real symphony orchestra. This is the only film director Roth have worked with composer Leonard Rosenman. The story behind this collaboration is that director Roth and composer Rosenman was neighbors and they wanted to collaborate and this movie is the result of that.
