Morgan Fairchild plays a once acclaimed novelist whose career is in decline. Her books about "The Red Ribbon Killer" aren't selling as well as they used to. She then begins to have dreams that people who are dismissing her work are being killed by the villain of her books. When those people really wind up dead, she wonders if she really conjured up the killer. Yep, that's all there is, folks. The film quickly becomes predictable and never generates excitement. The boring nightmare sequences are the main plot point, and the actual outcome is left as a virtual afterthought. Aside from some nice-looking scenes of downtown San Diego, which was a beautiful city at the time, I can't think of anything to recommend about this film. It's a disappointment all the way around.

It is quite evident that the screen writers' minds were improperly blocked, and the result is this.
