Crystle Lightning (Star Watcher), William Lightning (Young Tecumseh), and Cody Lightning (Young Loud Noise) are siblings.
Tantoo Cardinal (Turtle Mother) and Jimmy Herman (Cornstalk) worked together previously in Dances with Wolves (1990).
There is an outdoor production of a play called "Tecumseh!", which started in 1973 and still continues to this day in Chillicothe, OH. It uses live horses, cannons, and realistic battle sequences and is narrated by Native American actor Graham Greene.
