- Quotes
Detective Ernie Scalus: Now you fucks have gone too far! Goddamn heads landing on cars while Long Island families are singing 'Found a Peanut'! They found a peanut, all right, honey. They found a peanut of death!
- Crazy creditsHi! I'm the CREDIT GUY - You know, the sensitive guy who makes up the end credits on all these films. It gets pretty lonely around here, you know, dedicating my spirit to a vastly under-appreciated art form - so I thought I'd slip in a little personal ad. I'm sure the producers won't mind. If any women are interested in water sports please call me at 1-800-838-7662! Run out into the lobby and make the call now. Oh, yeah - and I love big hooters!

They say that if you let monkeys write long enough, they would write Shakespeare. Well then why after twenty years can't Troma make an entertaining film? Especially based on Shakespeare
They throw a bunch of pitifully bad gore effects in with some T and A and give the rank actors some horrible dialog and it is not entertaining, in fact it is terrible and doesn't even pass for bad.
Don't get me wrong. I love a good cheesy movie. (Great example: Mighty Peking Man.) Ed Wood made really bad films, yet somehow his naivete made them hilarious. Troma films are just downright bad and boring. There is no excuse for this tripe. Low budget doesn't have to mean painfully amateurish.
Troma is trying too hard to be cheesy and it comes off as just plain boring and stupid. Just so I don't leave you all in the lurch, here are some examples of excellent low, low budget films.
Plan 9 from Outer Space, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Night of the Living Dead, Laser Blast, and Evil Dead.
I am sure that Tromeo and Juliet cost more to make than all of these films yet shares none of the qualities that make these films endure the test of time and entertaining to watch.
