The Wizard of Oz in Concert: Dreams Come True (1995)

Trivia

The Wizard of Oz in Concert: Dreams Come True

Edit
This concert includes "The Jitterbug" which was cut from the original film.
Joel Grey later played The Wizard of Oz in the Broadway stage production of "Wicked" which was a re-imaging of L. Frank Baum's The Wizard of Oz story from the viewpoint of the Good Witch of the North and the Wicked Witch of the West.
Unlike Jack Haley, Roger Daltrey says the line "Thank you from the bottom of my heart!" in the scene where the Wizard (Joel Grey) gives him a heart.
Roger Daltrey in his role of The Tin Man sings a rock music tempo of "If I Only Had A Heart". This stage adaptation omits the Wicked Witch's scene of interrupting as well as threatening Dorothy, Scarecrow and Tin Man on top of the Tin Man's cottage following this musical number.
Phoebe Snow sings a reprise medley of "If I Only Had a Brain/a Heart/the Nerve" in this television special.
