Toby Stephens and Tara Fitzgerald who played Gilbert Markham and Helen Graham respectively later had roles in another BBC production, Jane Eyre (2006).Tara Fitzgerald , played Jane's aunt Mrs. Reed, while Toby Stephens played Edward Rochester, Jane's love interest.
