BeetleBorgs (1996)

Trivia

BeetleBorgs

Edit
The show was adapted from two unrelated '90s Metal Hero Shows: Juukou B-Fighter (1995) and Bî-Faitâ Kabuto (1996). When the Saban crew no longer had any footage left to adapt, the show was cancelled after 89 episodes and ended with a cliffhanger.
Shadowborg's and Green Hunter Borg's costumes were re-used in Forever Red (2002) as remnants of the Machine Empire, who would plan to reactivate Serpentera.
Notably, this was of the few Saban shows to air on Fox Kids which did not include a crossover with "Power Rangers", though there had been plans to do so and a photograph even circulated showing the Hillhurst monsters alongside Blake Foster in costume. In 1997, the crossover occurred as a Power Rangers Turbo (1997) vs. "BeetleBorgs Metallix" (1997) comic.
Some of the monster costumes appeared in The Mystic Knight of Forest (1998) in repainted form as the Spectres of Banshee Woods. Among them are Scorpix, Shellator, Emily the Seed of Evil, Fangula Bat Monster, and Fernzilla.
Between 2005 and 2010 rumors appeared online about a spin-off of BeetleBorgs in the making titled "House Monsters". The show however never materialized.
