From the busily seething film industry of Hong Kong come productions featuring a wide range of quality, with this hideous piece being below most standards utilized by civilized man, a movie obviously geared for an audience of subliterate youths in their initial spasms of puberty, as Taiwanese director Chiu Yen-Ping relies heavily upon sight gags that are excruciatingly unfunny while his shabbily composed script is so inane in content that he drifts into completely tasteless material that stresses toilet humour, and worse. A young man (Takeshi Kaneshiro) protective of his virginity, is saving himself until his vision of the ideal woman appears, but when he espies a potential candidate (Athena Chu Yan), he discovers that she is not only his new workplace supervisor but his new stepsister, as well; however, since the two instantly dislike each other, it becomes easily foreseeable that they will soon fall in love, the predictability factor of this sloppily produced affair having equal weight with its banality, the many retakes serving to highlight ongoing flaws of continuity. A full-screen DVD version includes no extras but, for viewers who require English subtitles, those provided here are a wondrous form of entertainment as a viewer will be tempted to guess at which possible meanings they might have been intended to impart.
