Ajay Devgan never spoke about the film in any interviews as he was doing the film as favor.
The song Deewana Deewana from Jung (1996) was inspired by the song "Thilana Thilana" from Rajnikanth Telegu movie Muthu. The song was later dubbed in Hindi and titled "Rangeela Rangeela" (Muthu Maharaja).
The film was titled "Guru Chela" in 1994. The script went thru slight changes and was finally titled "Jung". Sumeet Saigal was replaced by Aditya Pancholi.
Aditya Panscholi won laurels for his double role, he also coincidentally did another film with the name of Jung.
Aditya Pancholi was kept out of the film's publicity due to his box office market declining.
