Leslie Nielsen and Nicollette Sheridan in Spy Hard (1996)

Trivia

Spy Hard

Edit
During the scene where Dick Steele rides the horse into an elevator at a hotel, the couple in the elevator with him is played by stuntman Loren Janes and his real wife, Ginger. Janes and his wife played the same roles in the same scene of True Lies (1994), which is what the scene parodies. Janes also worked on the stunts for this movie as well.
The opening title sequence is a very specific and direct send-up of the main title sequence of the James Bond movie Thunderball (1965).
Leslie Nielsen plays Dick Steele at the ages of 37 and 52. Nielsen was 69 at the time of filming.
Information in Desirée More's information file includes: turn-ons (drool), turn-offs (genitals), ambitions (Leslie Nielson's laundress), hobbies (cool whip sculpture), biggest influence (my pet hamster Totsi), favorite food (bananas), favorite monument (Washington), favorite eating utensil (hand), favorite recipe (cheese), favorite artist (Pat Sajak), and favorite movie (The Doggirls of Anateim).
In a 2012 interview, actress Marcia Gay Harden admitted that she hated filming the movie and has not seen it in its entirety. While she enjoyed working with Leslie Nielsen, she described the production as "chaotic" and claimed that the film was "behind schedule [and] over budget."

Cameo

Talisa Soto: Bond Girl Lupe Lamora from the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) as a seductress in a hotel room. She was billed as Desirée More, itself an Ian Flemingesque double entendre moniker.
Robert Culp: Kelly Robinson, of the popular comedy series I Spy (1965), makes an appearance as the grumpy businessman aboard WD-40's flight to Los Angeles.
Ray Charles: As a bus driver.
Mr. T: As a helicopter pilot.
Hulk Hogan: As Dick Steele's other tag team member.
