Following up a hint Simon Cowell dropped a few weeks ago live on air, “America’s Got Talent” has now officially confirmed that it will debut its latest spin-off in 2024. The new series, titled “AGT: Fantasy League,” will feature Simon, Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum, and the return of Mel B as “coaches” of four different fantasy teams of former “AGT” contestants in the ultimate fan favorite showdown. Terry Crews is slated to once again return for hosting duties.
The new spin-off will differ from previous ones — “All Stars,” “Champions” and “Extreme” — in that for the first time the judges will draft a roster of acts that they will compete alongside throughout the season, similar to the way a season of “The Voice” progresses. The judge/coach of the champion act will beat out his or her peers to also be named a winner. Along the way, each judge will have use...

NBC has announced its next America’s Got Talent spinoff.
The new iteration is titled AGT: Fantasy League and is set to premiere in early 2024. It borrows a wrinkle from another NBC unscripted staple, The Voice, in that the show’s judges will have a stake in which acts advance through the competition.
AGT: Fantasy League will take the midseason spot occupied by AGT: All-Stars last season, though the latter is still alive at the network and could return another time. NBC teased a new twist on the format in announcing its 2023-24 schedule in May.
Singer and songwriter Mel B — who was a judge on the main series for six seasons — will return to the judges’ table for Fantasy League, joining Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel. Terry Crews will continue his role as host.
The show will find each judge choosing from a pool of past Got Talent winners,...

Laurence Basse was originally a contestant in the 15th season of “Project Runway.” She reached the finale episode but ultimately finished in third place behind ultimate winner Erin Robertson after the finalists showed their collections. She returned to the show for “All-Stars” in season 20 for another chance at the grand prize. So how has the leather specialist performed? We’ve assembled all of her looks above and ranked them from worst to best. Do you agree with how we (and the judges) assessed her work?
See‘Project Runway’ season 20: Best looks
Basse started off strong. She received a safe score from the judges in the first challenge, “Project Redemption,” when the designers had to reinvent a look that got them a low score — or eliminated — in the past. But her journey came close to ending the very next week in “Toying with Fashion.” That was an unconventional materials challenge...

“Big Brother” fan favorite Da’Vonne Rogers didn’t hold back at the end of Wednesday’s “All Stars” episode. “I was under the impression that, you know, we were gonna get a second chance and … no,” she declared in the Diary Room following the Veto ceremony in which Christmas Abbott chose not use to the power to save either Da’Vonne or Bayleigh Dayton. The dynamic duo had hoped Christmas, who’s also the current Head of Household, would use the Veto to backdoor Tyler Crispen, not knowing the surfer was actually Christmas’ “untouchable” in the game.

Coronavirus can’t keep a drag queen down: The full “RuPaul’s Drag Race” TV franchise is currently in production in Los Angeles, Variety has confirmed exclusively. The Emmy-winning flagship series wrapped its 13th season last week, and production is already underway on one of the franchise’s spin-off titles.
The “Drag Race” franchise usually shoots in the summer and fall for premiere dates in the first half of the following year, but the Covid-19 pandemic has raised obvious questions about how any production involving regular interpersonal interaction could operate safely.
To that end, World of Wonder, the company that produces “Drag Race” for VH1, approved back-to-work plans with all the appropriate unions, according to a source with knowledge of the production. And the show’s producers are following local, state and federal Covid-19 health and safety requirements.

This will mark the 13th season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, which recently celebrated its highest-rated season ever and earned 13 Emmy nominations. It’s lucky 13 for “RuPaul’s Drag Race.”
VH1 has renewed the Emmy-winning reality competition series for a 13th season, the network announced on Thursday. “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” was also renewed for a sixth season, and the unstructured after-show “Untucked” — which depicts the backstage conversations between contestants during judge deliberations — was renewed for the flagship series and “All Stars.”
“Drag queens have been on the frontlines of many challenging times in our history,” said host and executive producer RuPaul in a statement. “‘RuPaul’s Drag Race 13,’ ‘All Stars 6’ and new seasons of ‘Untucked’ will offer more opportunities for our queens to rise to the occasion and spread the love.”
The renewal comes as no surprise, given that the “Drag Race” franchise has arguably never been stronger. Season 12 of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” was the highest rated season in the show’s history — sorry, herstory — and it was recently nominated for best reality competition series.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” completed the 5th installment of its “All Stars” spin off on Friday July 24 with the finale episode “Clap Back!” where Jujubee, Shea Coulee and Miz Cracker vied for the coveted crown.

“RuPaul’s Drag Race” continued the 5th installment of its “All Stars” spin off on July 3 with the queens revealing their best celebrity impersonations in “The Snatch Game of Love.” In that fifth episode, RuPaul Charles changed the rules once again — no longer would there be a set of bottom queens, but rather any contestant not picked as the top queen would fall to the bottom and be vulnerable to elimination. As the top of the week, Shea Coulee was faced with the option of getting revenge on Alexis Mateo after India Ferrah disclosed that Alexis had campaigned to get Shea out earlier in the season. While she was tempted by that option, Shea went by performance metrics and ultimately sent India home on her fourth straight week in the bottom.

Original “Survivor” castaway Jenna Lewis didn’t hold back when asked by EW.com if she would ever want to play again. “F— Yes!” she exclaimed. Jenna appeared on “Borneo” (Season 1) and “All Stars” (Season 8), but hasn’t been seen since, despite repeatedly being on producers’ shortlists over the past 16 years. “I have been contacted so many times, it’s like CBS is my own personal d— tease,” she joked. “This last time I had signed over 100 pages of documents and gone for shots, and started the whole mental prep. Just do it already, Mark [Burnett] and [Jeff] Probst. Third time’s a charm.”
The concept of watching “Survivor” on TV now is starting to leave a bad taste in her mouth. Jenna readily admitted, “I am still butt-hurt at how many times Survivor Casting has called and had me on stand-by for a season, or had me in the ‘finals’ of casting,...

Given the massive success of “RuPaul’s Drag Race” over the last decade, it’s no surprise that the show has almost unilaterally defined the mainstream understanding of drag artistry. But now that the show has done the hard work of getting people to pay attention, what becomes of drag as an art form? And can “Drag Race” continue to thrive now that everyone wants a piece of that success?
Since its debut in 2009, “Drag Race” has gone from a reality show pseudo-parody on a niche cable network to regularly coming in as the most-watched cable show among young adults on Friday nights. Rose McGown continues to police Hollywood's reaction to the Harvey Weinstein scandal, this time attacking her Charmed co-star Alyssa Milano for not condemning Weinstein's estranged wife. I’ve been playing WWE video games all my life – from the early days of the Nes and the likes of Wrestlemania Challenge, through a myriad of consoles and handhelds, to as recently as WWE 2K16 on the PS4; and in that time the games have changed a Lot. So, after decades of change, why now does it feel like the WWE video game franchise is becoming stale?
Of course it might just be me… You see I have a love/hate relationship with the WWE games, I love playing them but hate losing – and towards the end of my time with WWE 2K16 I felt like I was losing more than winning. Selfish I know but those are the breaks! It’s the same reason why, I feel, that with the modern WWE video games it’s best, generally, to skip a release or two and come back to...

Violet Chachki, drag star and winner of RuPaul’s Drag Race season seven, made history as the first drag queen to model in a women’s lingerie campaign. Chachki is the featured model for the “Never the Girl Next Door” campaign for Bettie Page Lingerie, a line by the London-based lingerie brand Playful Promises.
In an exclusive interview with Et, Chachki said that it felt “amazing” getting to model for this campaign. “I would have never imagined, when I first started performing as a drag queen, that this would ever happen. It’s surreal.”
The lingerie found in the new collection is vintage in style, featuring such items like structured corselettes, spiral stitched bullet bras, high-waisted briefs and satin robes. “It’s very graphic and playful,” Chachki said. “That’s what I really love about glamour and drag; it’s about celebrating femininity and fun, while being really provocative.”

Chris here. Last night the lineup was revealed for the third season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars in a big casting extravaganza like Drag Race used to do in the old days. These casting specials really should be required for each season because we get to spend solo time with each queen that the workroom can't afford. And for an All Stars season it allows the newer viewers an opportunity to get to know queens from early seasons. But onto the queens - this year's lineup is also stocked full of "eliminated too soon" queens to go with the fan favorites:
Aja (Season 9) BenDeLaDreme (Season 6) Chi Chi Devayne (Season 8) Kennedy Davenport (Season 7) Milk (Season 6) Morgan McMichaels (Season 2) Shangela (Season 2 and 3) Thorgy Thor (Season 8) Trixie Mattel (Season 7)
