Chris Farley in Beverly Hills Ninja (1997)

Trivia

Beverly Hills Ninja

Edit
Christian Bale, when asked what his favorite movie was, named this as his favorite comedy. Though he's only ever watched it twice.
According to Bernie Brillstein, Chris Farley was so disappointed in this movie that he cried on Brillstein's shoulder after the first screening.
Chris Farley's brothers, both Kevin and John, appeared in this movie as cops, right before Chris disappears behind the cloud of smoke. Their scene was shot during an evening shoot at the Hindu Temple Society of Southern California in Calabasas.
Chris Farley performed most of the martial arts stunts himself. But, at one point, he was injured on the set while doing one of his own stunts. When he was trying to hide like a ninja and jump through the wall - during one take he dove into the wall and hit a stud which did not break.
Chris Farley died of a drug overdose nearly a year after the film's release. Jason Davis (who played the younger version of Farley in this movie) would also die of a drug overdose 23 years later.
