Beverly D'Angelo and Brion James in Pterodactyl Woman from Beverly Hills (1996)

Trivia

Pterodactyl Woman from Beverly Hills

Edit
During an interview on the short-lived talk show Episode #1.2 (1993), it was revealed by Beverly D'Angelo that she was shooting this movie at the same time as Lightning Jack (1994), having combined the two schedules and using the time she had free on one movie to work on the other.
Philippe Mora is a huge admirer of the artists Salvador Dalí and Pablo Picasso, and so he named the two characters, Dali played by Brion James and Picasso played by Ron Soble, in the film as a homage to the two famous and influential artists.
The character of Sam portrayed by Brion James is a reference to the character John Morgan played by Richard Harris in A Man Called Horse (1970), from the hair, the Irish accent, being part of the Native American culture, and even going so far as to say he is related to Morgan by claiming his mother was a Navajo and his father was an aristocrat.
The stop motion dinosaur sequences are from Planet of the Dinosaurs (1977)
Francesca Hilton mentioned that she was doing this movie on Howard Stern's radio show in 1995.
