I can't believe the one star reviews this film has! The slow build-up and Suzanne Somers' realisation of what she's sinking into are particularly well done. John Vargas as Cerio is a menacing, charming sorcerer. A delight.
Having never seen John Vargas before, I was delighted to see such an attractive actor. The script was rather silly but John Vargas's acting was excellent.I wanted to see other films that he had been in and was delighted to see what a versatile actor he is. We need to see more of him please.
This is a movie that will certainly score in the bottom 100 of IMDB. Beautiful Suzanne Somers has participated in such a terrible script.
The character, a very respectable working mother, gets seduced through the spell of a male New Mexico witch, into getting entangled in a sexual affair. The story evolves through a series of childish weird events, all caused by the supposed power of the witch.
The best part of the movie is a two-second scene of the actress in very sexy underwear. However, this is not enough to compensate for the other 90 minutes or so of pathetic story and acting.

Today is a momentous day of my life. It is the day that I have seen the worst movie imaginable.
God, what the hell were they thinking when they made this movie? The plot was horrible, the script was downright silly, the characters were a bit brain dead, and the scenes dragged on and on.
Overall, this was a pretty outrageous film. I kept on wondering, "are you serious?" throughout the whole movie. During some of the scenes that were supposed to be intense or scary I actually laughed out loud. None of the characters ever really did anything that made sense in the situation that they were in. Also, the clichéd moments were sickening.
Besides the attractive female characters, this film has nothing going for it. I watched it on HBO when I had nothing to and couldn't sleep earlier this morning and halfway through the film the acting was so bad that I almost mistook it for a porn movie.
If you do decide to watch the movie, be prepared for a spectacularly hilarious and ridiculous ending scene on the top of the mountain. It's like at that point the people who made the movie said "oh hell, the rest of the movie didn't make any sense anyway. Let's just throw this in."

In Arizona, the middle-aged journalist Leigh Lindsay (Suzanne Somers) is happily married to his husband Nick Lindsay (James Sikking) and they have a teenage daughter, Melissa Lindsay (Mindy Spence). When her colleague and fellow journalist Joe Walthrop (Doug Coleman) is returning from the New Mexico after an interview with the healer Cerio (John Vargas), he has a car accident on the road and dies, and Leigh dreams on the accident. She reports her nightmare to her Dr. Mallory (Nancy Moonves) that gives stronger sleeping pills to Leigh. Her chief Steve Nieto (Roberto Guajardo) assigns Leigh to proceed the work of Joe since his tape recorder is empty. However, her best friend, the artist Rayna (Julie Carmen), advises Leigh not to go since Cerio is a brujo. But she says that it is her job to get the interview for her magazine. The spiritualist Rayna gives a ring to Leigh to protect her against evil spirits. While interviewing Cerio, Leigh faints and he takes the ring off her finger. She returns home and is stalked by the warlock Cerio that believes she is the reincarnation of his lover from the Seventeenth Century, affecting the family and friends of Leigh.
"Seduced by Evil" is a TV Movie where the lead star is Suzanne Somers and about a mystic affair of a sorcerer and a journalist. The plot is only reasonable, and Suzanne Somers is too old and fat to be John Vargas' passion. He should fall for her daughter Melissa to make the story more logical and less silly. It is impressive that Suzanne Somers does not repeat the costumes in any scene. My vote is five.
