Despite her parents contentious marriage, debt and torrid secrets, Annabella grows up wealthy, sweet and innocent. Eventually the debt catches up to them and causes the truth to be revealed.
Annabella and Manuel are happy at the new farm until Betsy threatens to expose them. They get a caravan and travel the country until they both find work at a Glass Factory. Trouble for Manuel causes Annabella to reconnect with her family.
