Goofs

In class, Miss Montgomery puts the world map up, then walks over to her desk and gets the globe. She walks back over and speaks for a moment with the class. Within a few shots, the map is down again.

During the opening "cheeto-feed" a bag of Crunchy style Cheetos are used. But in several scenes, Puffed Cheetos are seen on the kids.

On a penalty kick, the shooter does not signal to the referee when they are ready to kick.

Soccer games do not have running commentary by the PA announcer, and they most certainly would not have one with a particular bias towards one team as does the announcer during the final game.

After Nick kicks the soccer ball during the first practice, it bounces off of Sheriff Palmer's windshield. Given that a soccer ball is hard, it would have more than likely broken the windshield rather than bounce off of it.

Larry is caught in the goal net at the end of the first game. When he is seen wrestling with the net, the metal bars are flexible.

At the junkyard, Sheriff Tom asks Newt if he'd like to join the soccer team. When he tells Newt that "There's a game right now", he mouths the word "tomorrow" instead.

Before the shootout, The Big Green chose the following order: Juan, Kate, Nick, Sophia, Newt. However when the actual shootout is happening the order is as follows: Juan, Kate, Sophia, Nick, Newt.

During the half-time of the finals, Kate comments on their current score as 'better than 17 to 0', referencing their first match. Yet after their first match, the coach from the Knights says that the score is 18-0.

The kids in the car are nowhere near the age required for a learner's permit in Texas. The minimum age for a learner's permit in Texas is 15.
