The Brady Bunch Movie (1995)

Trivia

The Brady Bunch Movie

Edit
Florence Henderson initially turned down her cameo, as she didn't like the scene she was to appear in. After test screenings criticized the absence of Henderson, the producers convinced her to appear under the condition that she would have some certain control over her scene. At that point, Henderson accepted. Henderson also wanted more money, which she got.
Jan's outrageous afro-wig she chooses to wear to a school dance is a humorous throwback to the season 2 episode, "Will the Real Jan Brady Please Stand Up?", where she wears a less outrageous (but still pretty outrageous) curly black wig to stand out at a party.
As he heads off to his business meeting, Carol Brady tells her husband, Mike, to "Go get 'em, Tiger", and then wonders to herself "Tiger, Tiger: what ever happened to that dog?" This is one of many inside jokes about the show. Tiger was the name of the Bradys' dog in the TV series. But, after the first two seasons, the dog simply disappeared without explanation. The original Tiger was actually killed by a truck off-set during the first season. A trained look-a-like dog was brought in to replace him but he had a poor temperament and could not remain focused. Tiger was written off the show after appearing in just eleven episodes and no mention was ever made of what happened to him. However, his dog house was left in the back yard for the remainder of the series.
Peter does not utter his most famous catchphrase, "Pork Chops And Applesauce" in the movie, but the phrase does appear on the kitchen's blackboard menu. The phrase is uttered in the trailer.
One of the neighbors states that, among many quirks, the Bradys don't have a toilet in their bathroom. This is an inside joke, as the original show didn't show a toilet whenever the bathroom is shown, leading people to joke that the Bradys are so wholesome, they don't go to the bathroom. In reality, the network would not permit a toilet to be shown in the series, believing it would be in poor taste. However, the first appearance of a toilet on American television was actually in a 1957 episode of Leave it to Beaver. Later, when the Bradys are at Sears, Mr. Dittmeyer is seen carrying a toilet which he drops on his foot.

Cameo

Barry Williams: The music producer who Greg tries to convince to give him a chance.
Florence Henderson: The original Carol Brady plays Grandma Brady.
Christopher Knight: The gym coach who stops Eric Dittmeyer from picking on Peter.
Ann B. Davis: The truck driver (Shultzy) who picks up Jan.
