This movie might have been better if the plot had made more sense. A major plot point was not explained until the movie was half over, making it hard to understand what the characters' motivations were. There is nothing to draw the viewer into the story. There were some good scenes, but they needed a better plot to tie them together.
Plot: When small-time criminal Casey and local detective Madeline get caught in a cross-fire between dirty F.B.I. agents and their drug cartel friends because of a very important computer disk that Casey was delivering, all hell breaks out. Its hard to tell the bad guys from the good guys.
This is a certain kind of movie that is filled with high octane action and a very simple story. Michael Biehn as always does a great job playing Casey along with Lellani Saurelle playing Madeline. The rest of the cast does a decent job except for the late Ed Lauter who I usually like having a strange accent for most of the time. The plot is basic and straight to the point. The action is pretty well done for the most part, the only problem at times is the lighting of the scenes which makes it hard to see what is going on.
I'd say give this a watch if you have time to kill and just want to watch a simple action film that's not overly complicated.

This film was quite enjoyable, as a Michael Biehn fan, I appreciated this movie, he plays the character well and the cheeky comic element to his character makes him so enjoyable to watch. With some excellent action, a nice soundtrack, great humour, and some nice supporting acting from Matt Craven and Kim Coates. Leilani Sarelle Ferrer is super in this role and does more shooting than Michael in fact, a sexy woman with guts! Although Ed Lauter's accent strains credibility, its nice to have him in the cast. A good film, which deserves more credit! 7/10

I really enjoyed this movie, a little different take on the buddy theme, plenty of action and some great one-liners too. Cast was excellent, acting superb and everything moved so very smoothly. One movie I'll enjoy watching again. A good fun movie to watch anytime!
After teed off Small-time thief Casey (Michael Biehn) fatefully teams up with ambitious undercover Cop Madeline (Leilani Sarelle Ferrer) their situation rapidly goes south! Our plucky, pistol packing protagonist's bloody siege on corrupt FBI agents and douchey drug lords proves explosive, and the bravura, bullet-shredded melee unleashed thereafter, makes for one demonstratively fine 90s actioner! No one needs a Vidiota like me telling anyone that Michael Biehn movies rock audaciously, coz everyone knows that, but I'm going to repeat it anyway, coz imma Vidiota that don't know any better!!! Well-made, fast, fun, and legitimately furious, 'Breach of Trust' remains some primo Biehn, and I must reiterate that beautiful Biehn and fiesty Ferrer make for a delicious, decisively death-dealing DTV dream team! I also dug the fact that the snappily-written Breach of Trust included a noisome rooftop stand-off, a blonde, Uber-euro henchman, and a satisfyingly ballistic warehouse climax.

Casey is a small time crook who's having trouble getting paid so takes matters into his own hands. The result is a fast paced, action-orientated film with the exceptionally talented but highly underated Michael Biehn playing Casey.
It's not all action though. There are some wonderfully humorous scenes as the two leads try to ditch each other at first.
Some of the other acting is not quite up to scratch but there is plenty onscreen to make up for that including a sizzling scene between the two leads.
Well worth renting out for some Saturday night entertainment.
