Porgy Franssen, Rijk de Gooyer, and Paul de Leeuw in Filmpje! (1995)

Trivia

Filmpje!

Edit
In a deleted scene Bob is seen driving around, his truck loaded up with stuff belonging to Annie and their children. Paul de Leeuw wasn't allowed to do any stunts himself, but secretly decided to get in the truck and drive it around anyway. The stunt involved making a U-turn on a crowded city road during rush hour. The road was not closed down for the shoot, nor was it's usual traffic made aware of the shooting.
'Filmpje!' was based on the catchphrase of Paul de Leeuw, who shouted the word "Filmpje!" (Translated roughly as movie, video, clip, report or mostly, prerecorded skit) whenever he introduced the usual segment of his alter egos Bob and/or Annie de Rooij, aired during his weekly personality show "De Schreeuw van de Leeuw".
Composer Cor Bakker was assigned with the task of creating original soundalikes as the movie's score. He was instructed to make it "Sound exactly like Jaws, James Bond and The Wizard of Oz, without explicitly using them".
Theo van Gogh was one of several filmmakers considered for directing Filmpje! (1995).
The movie premiered in three movie theaters in Rotterdam simultaneously. Former Dutch pay per view-moviechannel Filmnet hosted a special live event following Paul de Leeuw on the entire opening night, with de Leeuw and Paul Ruven visiting all three movie theaters. The televised live event was presented by Ivo Niehe.
