John Milner
- Wilcox: We haven't taken an orca out of the wild in 20 years. Now there's three, right in my hands. A million dollars each for the two young ones. Two mil for the older brother. Young males are particularly attractive just for their breeding capabilities. The older brother's already trained. He's a gold mine.
- John Milner: You've got to be very careful.
- Wilcox: Don't worry, you're covered. Long-term rehabilitation is what I recommend.
- John Milner: Just as long as it looks like we have the whales' best interest at heart. Do you understand? That's all that matters to me.
- [Elvis, having overheard the master plan, quietly leaves the donut shop and takes his doughnut with him.]
- Wilcox: Sure and your ten percent. Besides, we do have their best interest at heart. They'll be well cared for, I assure you. In the meantime, they're getting nice and healthy. No reason why people shouldn't pay to see them. Right?
- [Jesse looks at Annie and then Randolph for approval on a risky proposal to Milner]
- Jesse: I'll make a deal with you.
- John Milner: I'm listening.
- Jesse: I'll convince Willy to let us help Luna.
- John Milner: Great.
- Jesse: [holds John's instruction to Kate] But, you have to promise to get Willy, Luna and Littlespot back to their mom.
- John Milner: I can't promise that.
- Jesse: It's your oil that killing Luna. And if she dies, everybody's gonna see it on the six o'clock news. Everyone's gonna blame you.
- John Milner: What do you want me to say?
- John Milner: Just promise me you'll try.
- John Milner: Well, that I can do.
