The drama on Love Island USA Season 6 has been sizzling that the Hideaway has not been featured in the Peacock dating competition.

ITV Entertainment executive producer Simon Thomas revealed in a recent interview the real reason the Islanders have not visited the Hideaway this season.

“We do indeed have a Hideaway in the main villa this season; there just hasn’t been the right opportunity to use it,” Thomas told People.

He continued, “We usually save the Hideaway for when couples are really clicking, but since it’s been such a rollercoaster for the Islanders so far, with a lot of couple-swapping and all the drama that comes with that, the timing has never felt right.”

X’s is Cigarettes After Sex’s first album in five years, and finds vocalist and principal songwriter Greg Gonzalez touching on the sounds of ’70s and ’80s slow-dance pop ballads. MGM is in talks to acquire package “Combat School,” which has Jake Gyllenhaal attached to star with “Extraction” director Sam Hargrave attached to direct, according to an individual with knowledge of the deal.

“Combat School” tells the true story of the late Medal of Honor recipient John Chapman, and Special Ops Combat Controller, and his heroic one-man stand during the Afghan War, as he sacrificed his life to save the lives of twenty-three comrades-in-arms. The project is based on the New York Times bestseller “Alone at Dawn” by Dan Schilling and Lori Chapman Longfritz. Gyllenhaal would star as Chapman and is executive producing the project as well. Hargrave’s long-time collaborator Shelby Malone will associate produce.

Exclusive: Deon Taylor is set to direct Freedom Ride, a period drama that will be produced by The Hideaway Entertainment’s Matthew Rhodes (Cherry), Inde Companies’ Kim Leadford (The Butler), Mark R. Harris (Crash) and Hidden Empire Film Group’s Roxanne Avent Taylor (Fatale). Taylor, whose films include Fatale and Black and Blue, has written the script with Steven Vosburgh and Dusdi Fissette based on first-person accounts by a dozen of the original Freedom Riders, including the late civil rights icon and U.S. Congressman John Lewis.

Taylor and his Hidden Empire Film Group partner Robert F. Smith will be exec producers, along with Benjamin Crump and his company Brooklyn Media. Crump is the noted civil rights attorney who represents the family of the late George Floyd and repped the family of Trayvon Martin. The filmmakers will go out quickly to land a distributor for the package, in time for a hoped-for summer start date.

New superlatives are needed to express just how good is this wonderful Americana musical from the 1950s boom years. The Broadway creator tapped Hollywood’s most qualified (and creative) director of musicals for the stage to screen conversion, retaining much of the original New York talent. Doris Day is a sensation as Babe Williams, whose romantic and labor problems play out at a sleepwear factory. The color design is a delight, every song is a keeper, and the talent on view makes one want to clap, sixty-five years later.

Exclusive: We hear that Hustle & Flow Oscar nominee and Empire star Terrence Howard is joining Brett Leonard’s feature Triumph opposite Breaking Bad’s Rj Mitte. Howard will also executive produce the pic with Mitte.

It's strange how intermittently bestselling novelist Dean Koontz has been adapted, and how those adaptations—from the early Ben Affleck joint "Phantoms" to the Jeff Goldblum starring psychological thriller "Hideaway"—have been almost uniformly horrible. Koontz doesn't have the way with characters or the homespun prose of his contemporary Stephen King, but he sells almost as many books. And most are written in a singularly straightforward, cinematic style that should make big screen adaptations easy and accessible (his late '90s techno-thriller "Dark Rivers of the Heart" was the best movie James Cameron never made). On ABC's Wednesday sitcom "Suburgatory," which launched a new season in January, Jeremy Sisto plays George Altman, an architect and single father of a teen daughter (Jane Levy) who moves to the suburbs to give her a better life. He discovers life there is different, but whether it's better is a work in progress.

In real life, Sisto is a 39-year-old father of two: daughter Charlie and baby son Bastian. He got married to wife Addie a few months after his daughter was born, but Sisto has no regrets about taking the plunge.

"I love my family," he tells Zap2it. "I have a great wife. It took me a while to figure that out and commit, but now I'm really happy I did. She's a human being, and we're committed to each other. It's a nice thing. The kids are just amazing. It's a different level."

Odd Thomas is the first in a series of seven books, six of which have already been released and have sold a total of over 20 million copies worldwide. The set includes Odd Thomas, Forever Odd, Brother Odd, Odd Interlude, Odd Apocalypse and Deeply Odd.

It’s been nearly two decades since Cher and Elton crossed paths at a trendy high school in Beverly Hills in Clueless. A lot has changed since then for the stars of the cult teen comedy, who reunite on tonight’s episode of Suburgatory. And the context of those changes still shock even Alicia Silverstone.

“When I first watched Suburgatory, I was so excited for him and proud of him and thought, ‘Wow, he’s just a whole different guy,’” Silverstone says. “I mean, we did a movie called Hideaway (1995). He played a psycho-killer and I was Jeff Goldblum’s daughter.

It’s been almost 17 years since Elton left Cher stranded in the Valley in front of a liquor store in 1995′s cult classic Clueless. It wasn’t the best way to win a girl’s heart, but luckily, he’s getting a second chance.

Reunited and playing love interests on Suburgatory, Jeremy Sisto and Alicia Silverstone finally “get serious,” the actor tells People while on the set of their skit, which nods to the infamous Clueless scene.

“We met at the farmer’s market and we have insane chemistry,” says Sisto of their roles on his new show.
