Naseeruddin Shah bashed Vidhu Vinod Chopra in print. Naseer stated Vidhu only worked with him because he was available, was talented and Vidhu could only afford him. Years later Vidhu refused to pay Naseeruddin what he asked for in Parinda. Naseer went on to add that Vidhu made more money on Sazaye Maut years later. Vidhu had promised to pay Naseer some money still owing but later refused to.
