    great, a wonderful game

This game is just wonderful. The graphic is good, the story so complex and interesting, the characters funny, and the gameplay great. When you are playing it you really got the feeling as if you were the Captain of a Starfleet vessel and it is really fun. But the best of all is that there is William Shatner in it. To see him playing Captain Kirk once more was just amazing, and he did a very good job, he just is Captain Kirk.

    1 word- Sucks

Heheheheheh... 2 weapons heheheheh. Who in the right mind would design 2 weapons! And what is the most anticipated game of the year suppose to mean. Thats a first, I expected best or worst or something. I enjoy the story more than the game. In some missions I usually just browse through the ship library, that's more interesting than the game. I thought it would be cool, but I did'nt lose anything, I got of my friend for pokemon cards .(can you believe that!) I expected at most 1-2 cd's, I don't see the reason for 5! What's the point of it when even at the easiest level you get stuck at 2! When Klingon academy comes I hope they make more than 2 weapons, make like Tricobalt torpedoes, Chain Reaction Pulsars and some really cool weapons and MUCH MORE INTERACTION! I'd recommend not to purchase this game, 4 it deserves.

    Well designed AND challenging

My opinion of Starfleet Academy, which takes into consideration the same points as the only other comment, is that the game is well designed and challenging. These are two very good attributes when selecting a decent game.

Who want to play a game where it is too easy or predictable? No one. The storyline is intricate, the gameplay is amazing, the gameplay is as close to "real" as it could get, and they have special guest voices from time to time.

In the other comment, the game is discredited for using only two different weapons (phasers/disruptors and torpedoes). Is that not the way it always went on the show? Regardless, that's how it is in every other Star Trek game out there. So, why complain? It's just being "real". They also commented that they were stuck on disk 2 out of 5. Well, good. Everyone needs a good challenge. Obviously there is something they had not thought of to get through it. Be creative, use your heads, use your friends' heads. Think like a starship Captain.

This game is really very decent, and I hope anyone reading this can see it the way I do. After all, that one comment is the only complaint about this game I have ever seen/heard.

    Star Trek: Starfleet Academy!

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy is one of the one of the coolest action video games! The characters, the action, and the sure thrill of adventure makes this game a fun non-stop playing time! Below is a brief look how I think the game is!

Game Play: The game play is very good. There is really basic controls here and is easy to perform. Novice gamers should have a good time here!

Graphics: The graphics are wonderful especially for the Sega Genesis 32X. The backgrounds are really beautiful! Difficulty: The game is easy but as it goes on you find out that it will become more difficult!

Music: The music is great! Just fantastic catchy tunes through out the game! In My opinion its some of the best music ever in a video game!

Sound: The sound is great. Nuff said!

Overall: I have always loved Star Trek: Starfleet Academy! If you like excellent adventure games, shooters, and more then I strongly recommend you play this game!

    Great

This game was so cool. You get to command a starship and fight exciting space battles and explore new worlds. It would have been better if it was set in the 24th century and had ships like the Enterprise-E and the Defiant. But still, the graphics are great and it is fun to play.
