The Tia von Davis / Max Packs / Jamie Gillis scene was shot at the home of the mother of The Mount of Venus' writer Merry Seaman's husband in West Orange, New Jersey.
Actress Kathie Fitch is identified as the mysterious "Nova Kane" in the booklet accompanying the Carter Stevens' Collegiates Feature Film Collection DVD box set (which has the official release of The Mount of Venus). A look at the film Heavy Load (1975) however reveals that Venus' booklet info is wrong and "Nova Kane" is really an alias for actress Susan Sloan.
The smoke effects for the disappearing scenes were done in camera because there wasn't enough money in the budget to do any optical effects in post-production.
